No experience is necessary to scuba dive – our qualified PADI Dive Instructors will take you through a Discover Scuba Diving Brief highlighting all safety procedures and skills.
Once at the reef, you will practice your skills both on the boat and in the water before being taken on a 30-40 minute dive with your instructor to explore spectacular coral reefs and abundant marine life from a different perspective. Pricing is for 1 Dive, an additional two dives are possible at $50 per dive.
Our dive gear is high quality and includes dive computers and large tanks.
Calypso's catamaran has been designed to provide the best scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Our instructors will show you unique dive sites and provide the latest scuba gear for your comfort and safety.
With visibility between 15m to 30m and water temperatures of 24C to 30C, diving conditions are great all year round. Clown Fish, anenomes, Maori wrasse and turtles are just some of the varieties of marine life seen while diving our sites on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Explore the very outer Great Barrier Reef in luxury and style with Calypso. Made up of four separate reefs that face out to the South Pacific Ocean, Agincourt Reef is regarded as one of the most significant sites of this natural wonder.
Explore rich, diverse coral gardens that help form these protective ocean walls, filled with hard and soft corals as well as the reef’s most iconic species such as sharks, stingrays, turtles, whales*, groupers and cods, maori wrasse and parrotfish.
Join us for a snorkelling experience at a secluded island in the morning or afternoon. Arriving at Low Isles approximately 30 minutes after departing The Reef Marina, snorkel in the calm lagoon to explore the reef and its inhabitants without the crowds.
Our comfortable, spacious vessel travels to Low Isles with 23 guests and allows approximately 90 mins to snorkel in the calm lagoon or view the reef from our glass bottom boat. Access to the reef is very easy, either from the back of the vessel or from the beach as the reef hugs close to the island.
Guests can access the island* and explore the sandy paths winding through the vegetation. See first hand the historical Lighthouse, the Lighthouse Keeper's home and the Weather Station where local weather data is collected. Bird life found here is spectacular, with many sea birds breeding and nesting in the vegetation and on the ground.
Explore the magnificent Outer Reef in half a day with Calypso. Travelling past Low Isles, you will visit one reef site showcasing the beauty and diversity of this natural wonder.
See untouched reef teeming with spectacular marine life while snorkelling. All snorkelling equipment is provided on board including prescription masks, flotation devices, wetsuits and lycra suits.
Our comfortable, spacious vessel travels to the Outer Reef allowing close to two hours of snorkelling directly from the back of the vessel. Access to the reef is very easy with a submerged platform where guests can get accustomed to the water before venturing off to discover the underwater world.
This tour is perfect for visitors who have limited time and want to explore the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
Guests make their own way to The Reef Marina for their scheduled departure. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on board.
